Would you benefit from extended time to rejuvenate as a team?
Do you need a ‘team refresh’ or collective business pause and reset?

Ohki Tailored

bespoke retreats for organisations and teams

Ohki Tailored gives you the opportunity to partner, inform or co-curate as much of your retreat as you would like to, with our support and expertise. You might want to work closely with us to choose the perfect venue, or provide us with a detailed brief of what you are hoping to achieve from any complimentary activities. Ohki Tailored gives maximum flexibility, enabling you to attend to what’s important in your unique circumstances.

Teams and organisations leave Ohki Tailored retreats with greater clarity and a renewed focus on what is needed for them to be both high-performing and healthy, in every sense.

Who is this for?

Ohki Tailored retreats are for teams and organisations that want or need extended time away from the office and front line to focus on their unique priorities, whether relational, restorative or outcome-based. Because Ohki Tailored is uniquely designed to meet your specific needs, the invitation is broad: We work with all sorts of businesses, systems and professionals, in a wide range of settings, drawing on our combined and broad professional backgrounds.

We work with one organisation or team each year to design and host a bespoke Ohki Tailored retreat. We believe this to be something very special, and therefore start with an exploratory conversation to see if we are a good fit for each other.

Initial enquiry: We start by exploring what is needed – to understand your unique context and systemic needs, identifying who the key stakeholders are, clarifying what the team purpose is, and what retreat outcomes are needed. We engage with the team individually ahead of the retreat, to shape the design and start the retreat process before arrival.

The retreat: Over the course of the two-to-four days of your Ohki Tailored retreat, we will facilitate space and activities to meet your needs, taking you on a journey of gathering together; pausing to listen and notice; taking time to reflect on what is important, what is as yet unknown; clarifying intentions and direction; and exploring creative ideas and approaches to deliver what is required, emerging renewed and inspired.

Tailored design: We offer a range of services alongside the design and hosting of the retreat itself, to ensure Ohki Tailored meets your team and organisational outcomes. Alongside the detailed planning of your retreat, you can choose from...

a ‘fully tailored’ service, including venue search and selection, menu planning, and planning of additional retreat activities – we work with you to curate the finer details of your professional retreat experience

a ‘simply hosted’ service, where we focus all of our attention on the design and hosting of your tailored retreat

…and anything in-between - that’s what Ohki Tailored is all about

Some venue ideas…

  • Hawkwood

Hawkwood is a Grade II listed 19th century country house, surrounded by 42 acres of sustainably managed woodland, farmland and gardens, overlooking the Severn Vale - an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  If you are looking for an inspiring and wonderfully peaceful location in which to host your Ohki Tailored retreat, this might be the one for you.  There are 28 bedrooms and a choice of areas to gather as a group – offering a truly tailored experience.

  • Gambledown Farm

Gambledown is a family-run sustainable farm between Winchester, Salisbury and Southampton, offering a taste of country life, excellent country walks, and a range of beautifully restored barns for your accommodation.  If you are looking for something a bit different for your Ohki Tailored retreat, how about hiring your own chicken coup or staying in the farm’s safari tents?  Consider Gambledown for a quiet and off-the-beaten track feel, with a range of local catering options to choose from.

  • Golden Grove

Perhaps you’re looking for something rustic and sustainable in the rolling hills of rural Carmarthenshire in Wales for your Ohki Tailored retreat?  Golden Grove is a purpose-built retreat centre with barn conversions, safari lodges, a spacious yoga studio, wood fired sauna, and spa facilities, not to mention the amazing views and surrounding natural beauty.  Perhaps this is the perfect choice for you and your team?

  • Warborne Farm

Warborne Farm is a 100-acre family run farm nestled between the Solent and the New Forest.  Those who have seen ‘Farm Life’ on the Discovery Channel will have already met the farm residents.  Should you choose Warborne for your Ohki Tailored retreat, you will stay in traditional farm buildings, beautifully converted into high quality accommodation that reflects its 180-year history, and benefit from fully renewable energy sources, home-grown produce, and fresh eggs for breakfast.
