Taking coaching to new heights

LEADERSHIP RETREAT – LAKE DISTRICT

Who are we?

We are a team of specialist psychologists and coaches with a shared vision to create and hold space for professionals, to pause and take time over what’s important.

Our core team brings together expertise and experience in leadership and team effectiveness, psychology and psychotherapy, systems and wellbeing, and professional supervision. We are uniquely qualified to design and host professional retreat experiences that restore, rejuvenate, and transform, for the individual, the team, and the greater good.

The extended Ohki team adds further richness and diversity to what we offer, with highly experienced yoga instructors, art therapists, nutritional experts, writers and musicians to bring surprising and distinctive flavours to our tailored retreats.

“We create space for souls to thrive, through transformative experiences for leaders, coaches and teams.”

Anna Springett

Anna is the Founder of Ohki and brought her dream of Ohki Retreats into being in 2022.

“What I love about hosting retreats is that it allows a deeper expression of who I am, professionally and personally; it is a holistic space in which to work. As a coach, psychologist and supervisor, I intertwine my professional experiences, gathered over many years, with my ‘whole self’ and my excitement for the human experience.

For me, retreats are a place for people to stop and reflect, a place to see more clearly. Professional retreats offer new perspectives and an opportunity to pause, learn and move out from. My passion is to create a space that nourishes, enriches and empowers individuals and leaders, business owners and community influencers, for the greater good.

For us all to be fully alive, knowing and embodying who we are and bringing this courageously to the world. This is what gets me excited. What about you?”

Anna is a Chartered & Registered Psychologist (Coaching & Occupational), Master Coach and Team Coach Practitioner with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), and an Accredited Coaching Supervisor with the EMCC (ESIA), the Coaching Supervision Academy (CSA) and the British Psychological Society (BPS, RAPPS). Anna specialises in leadership and team coaching, working with leaders, teams and organisations in a wide range of sectors. She has offered supervision, development and reflective practice in various forms for leaders and professionals for many years, with two decades of hands-on experience as a leadership consultant, psychologist, and not-for-profit executive chair, as well as volunteering for the BPS and EMCC Global. “I am also an artist and poet, a keen gardener, and a lover of food!’’

What people have to say about Anna

  • I place a tremendous value of Anna's supervisory sessions. She quickly creates the environment for a trusting group to form. Then the structure of her sessions combined with her clear coaching skills creates the environment for considerable learning about myself and about the craft of coaching. I look forward to my sessions and always leave feeling energised and ready to up my coaching game.

Sarah Wicks, Strategic Delivery Director, Adaptavist.

  • Anna role models what great coaching looks like. By providing the space and structure I was able to develop ideas that have benefited me greatly.

Matthew Tomlinson, Co-Founder, Live + Learning:

  • Anna has been a fantastic coach - she has given me the space to express myself and explore my own strengths and areas for development, whilst at the same time providing challenge and techniques to help me achieve my goals. I have put many of these techniques into practice and I am already seeing a significant improvement.

Judith Swaine, Chief of Staff, Finastra

  • Anna allows for an open discussion in which she doesn't judge which makes you feel like you can be open. Anna was very respectful of my situation and allowed me to discuss it in full with no judgement.

Thulasi Mohanadas

Thulasi is our psychological wellbeing specialist with a particular interest in inclusion and belonging.

“What I love about retreats is witnessing the transformation of people as they reconnect to their purpose and passions. It is invigorating to be in an environment designed specifically to bolster wellbeing and discovery. As social creatures in a remote-working and hybrid world, we are experiencing more of a thirst to feel connected and to belong. Ohki retreats offer this opportunity to not only come together, but to re-connect and feel part of something bigger and learn together. It is refreshing to step out of the day-to-day into the retreat space, to tap into your creativity and feel re-energised. We all need this!

My passion is to help individuals and teams to feel connected and unearth their potential. As a therapist, coach and business psychologist, I love working with people at a deeper level for lasting change. There is a collective wisdom and power in groups and teams when they come together, and it is inspiring and exciting to watch this emerge.”

With approaching two decades’ experience in the health sector, Thulasi brings her deep psychological expertise of working with individuals, couples, and groups as a Senior Psychotherapist. Thulasi is also a business psychologist and executive coach specialising in helping leaders and managers to foster psychological safety and create workplaces that are connected, resilient and inclusive. She is an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP) and professional certified coach with the Henley Business School, holding professional memberships with the Association of Business Psychologists (ABP), the British Psychological Society (BPS), and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

Victoria Coxen

Vic specialises in working systemically as a leadership and team coach, and brings this holistic approach to our retreat spaces.

“Human beings co-develop and co-evolve. Retreats help us to connect and learn with others on a similar journey, doing the work together that we cannot do apart, such as deepening self-awareness and self-acceptance, moving beyond limiting beliefs, experiencing the freedom of being our whole authentic self - or shaking things up and trying something different. Retreats enable us to share skills that are mindful and empowering, enabling well-being. I enjoy body work and somatic practice in coaching as it can easily be used in daily life by any of us, in subtle and supportive ways. It is my privilege to be part of your Ohki retreat facilitation team. We care greatly about you and your progress, and will challenge and support you to reach personal and leadership goals that you may not have thought possible.”

Vic has thirty years’ experience of people transformation for individuals, teams, large and small organisations. She is a Professionally Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (PCC, ICF), Master Practitioner in Systemic Team Coaching® (AoEC), Certified Embodied Coach, Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (CFIPD), registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and has an MBA from Cranfield University School of Management. Vic has worked with clients worldwide inspiring them to lead authentically and co-create happy, healthy sustainable environments. Her voluntary work supports women entrepreneurs and diversity and inclusion. “I also love yoga, breath work, knitting, growing vegetables and walking Olive, my whippet!”

What people have to say about Victoria

  • Coaching with Vic led me to see things without my fears or preconceptions getting in the way. It helped me to evaluate why people (myself included) behave in certain ways and to understand how I could do certain things better.

Emma Hatton, CTO, Orbital Wave Ltd.

  • Coaching helped me to develop more reflective skills and develop an 'inner knowing' about when to step back or push forward and how best to progress. The experience has helped me feel confident that I am a powerful and systemic game-changer with humility, grace and sensitivity.

Dr Ifeyinwa Kanu, Founder and CEO, IntelliDigest

  • Systemic Team Coaching changed our thinking forever. Thinking and operating at a systemic level is a game shifter making things simpler and quicker. I recommend it to any leadership team.
